Boldt Real Estate recently celebrated the grand opening of the Baptist 1026 Building in Madison, MS, alongside Baptist Memorial Health Care, Jackson Eye Associates (JEA), Mississippi Retina Associates (MRA), the project team, and surrounding community members. This $35 million investment underscores a shared commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure and services in the region.

The 100,000-square-foot facility is poised to revolutionize healthcare delivery in Madison by providing a comprehensive range of general and specialty medical services. JEA and MRA are the inaugural tenants, occupying 34,000 square feet and 20,000 square feet, respectively. This new medical office building not only represents a substantial investment in the local community but also a strategic step toward expanding and improving healthcare services in Central Mississippi. The building allows physicians to access the growing market of Madison while continuing to serve the broader Jackson market through convenient I-55 access. The project also expands the existing medical office space and offerings, bringing new service lines and opportunities to the campus and community.

Alex Brewer, Vice President of Real Estate at Boldt, commented on the project: “This new facility is a testament to our dedication to providing top-tier healthcare infrastructure that caters to the dynamic needs of our communities. Despite facing a challenging and rapidly changing development environment, including escalating construction costs during the design phase, we were able to deliver the project on budget through value engineering and a thorough competitive bid process. We are proud that our collaboration with Baptist Memorial Health Care ensures residents of Madison and nearby areas receive exceptional medical care right at their doorstep.”
