Beaufort Memorial Hospital

Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Intuitive Health, and Boldt Real Estate are collaborating on a
significant healthcare development for Hilton Head Island. Together, they are introducing a
new facility that will combine a freestanding emergency room with an urgent care center.
This hybrid model is designed to offer both emergency and non-emergency medical
services in one location, which is a first for the island. The goal is to improve access to
immediate care for both residents and the many visitors who come to Hilton Head each
year.
The facility will be located on William Hilton Parkway, a central and accessible area, and
will span 11,225 square feet. It will operate 24/7, providing round-the-clock emergency care
alongside more routine urgent care services. This setup allows patients to be evaluated
and treated at the appropriate level of care without needing to visit a hospital, which can
save time and reduce costs.
