Boldt Real Estate recently celebrated the grand opening of the Nebraska Medicine – Bennington Health Center, the latest milestone in the Nebraska Medicine’s ongoing expansion of community-based primary care across the Omaha metro.
The Bennington location is the sixth primary care clinic Boldt Real Estate has developed in partnership with Nebraska Medicine as part of the health system’s broader ambulatory growth strategy. Located at the northwest corner of 156th and State streets, the new clinic responds to significant population growth and increasing demand for convenient, neighborhood-level access to care in the Bennington area.
A Proven Clinic Model Focused on Efficiency and Patient Experience
The Bennington Health Center is a 13,250 SF facility built on Nebraska Medicine’s standardized ambulatory clinic prototype — a model developed in partnership with Boldt to accelerate delivery and unify patient experience across all locations.
Key design features include:
- 15 exam rooms
- Five flexible consult rooms convertible to exam rooms
- Diagnostic/X‑ray suite
- Treatment room
The project incorporates an onboard/offboard exam room model, centralizing care team collaboration and improving workflow efficiency across all clinics.
By right‑sizing and standardizing clinical spaces, Boldt helped Nebraska Medicine achieve significant cost savings while preserving functionality and patient comfort.
“This facility represents the strength of our long‑term partnership with Nebraska Medicine and our shared commitment to creating accessible, efficient, patient‑centered clinical environments,” said Alex Brewer, Vice President of Real Estate Development for Boldt Real Estate. “Delivering a repeatable, scalable clinic model ensures Nebraska Medicine can expand care close to home for more families across the region.”
Expanding Access Through Extended Hours and Immediate Care
As announced by Nebraska Medicine, the Bennington Health Center will offer primary care services as well as seven‑day Immediate Care, including weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays — providing convenient access for non‑emergent needs such as respiratory illnesses, minor injuries, sore throats and earaches.
Strengthening Nebraska Medicine’s Metro‑Wide Ambulatory Network
The Bennington Health Center joins a growing list of Boldt‑developed clinics in Brentwood Village, Chalco, Elkhorn, Fontenelle and Millard — each leveraging the same repeatable design model to streamline operations, accelerate delivery schedules and reinforce Nebraska Medicine’s community presence across the Omaha region.
Boldt’s role extends beyond design and construction to strategic real estate acquisition, securing prime sites at competitive rates and supporting Nebraska Medicine’s long‑range expansion into high‑growth neighborhoods.
“From our flexible financial offerings to site acquisition to design and construction oversight, our goal is to deliver healthcare real estate solutions that are delivered at the lowest responsible cost, are low‑friction, and positioned for long‑term value,” said Jake Garro, President of Boldt Real Estate. “This clinic showcases the power of a unified development approach that serves both providers and communities.”
